Elsa Jones is a qualified Nutritional Therapist from the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Nutritional therapy applies nutritional science to alleviate illness, promote optimal health, peak performance and disease prevention. At her private clinic in Dublin, Elsa offers one to one consultations and nutritional solutions for clients based on their individual needs and goals. Elsa writes a weekly nutrition column for the Evening Herald and a monthly article for Irish Parent Magazine. She also presents ‘How Healthy Are You?’ on TV3. Allison Keating
Allison Keating is a registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland and Director of the bWell Clinic in Malahide for the last six years. The bWell Clinic is a psychology clinic that works extensively with anxiety and panic disorders, phobias, relationship issues, eating disorders, trauma and depression. Owen Connolly
Owen Connolly is a consultant psychologist and marriage and family therapist, in private practice in, Stillorgan, Co Dublin. He is co-Author of the book Parenting for the Millennium, a best selling book on childcare, and Author of Standing on the Shoulders of Giants – From Father to Dad, a parenting book for fathers. He lectures in childcare and parenting and is Chairman of the Nurture Institute of Further Education for Parents, which runs parenting courses and day-long seminars on fatherhood throughout the greater Dublin area. Dr. Paul Carroll
Dr. Paul Carroll is a GP who has been working in North Dublin for the last three years in a Centric Health GP Practice. He was born and bred and did his medical training in Australia, and worked there in hospitals and in general practice until he moved to the UK in 1996. After working there for five years in some of the leading hospitals in the country, he moved to Ireland in 2001 and has now made his home here. He worked as a GP in many towns and villages across Ireland before settling in Dublin. He is a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and has featured regularly giving health advice on TV, radio and magazines. |

David Kavanagh is the Managing Director of the Avalon Relationship Consultants team. David holds a degree in Theology and a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. He is also a registered Family Psychotherapist. David founded the Avalon course as an alternative to Accord for couples who want a different format for marriage training. Suzanne Horgan
Suzanne Horgan (pictured right) is the Director and Founder of the Eating Disorder Resource Centre of Ireland. She is also a certified trainer in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders and Obesity Management, drawing on 25 years of personal and professional experience with eating disorders and weight control issues. She has extensively trained in the UK and Ireland and has appeared in numerous tv and radio talk shows. She carries out lectures, workshops, presentations, and trainings to schools, colleges, counseling institutions, and conferences. Deborah Whelan M.I.T.
Registered Trichologist, Deborah Whelan (pictured left) is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss and scalp diseases. Trichology is the science of the health of the hair and scalp. After thirteen years managing Trichological Clinics in the UK, she returned to Ireland in 2005. She has been a member of The Institute of Trichologists since 1992. Deborah has lectured on hair science in several countries and runs Galway Trichology Clinic in Galway City, and she also consults in Meath. Dr Catherine Crowe
Dr Catherine Crowe trained in General Medicine and Psychiatry in Dublin, London and Paris. A clinical fellowship at the Department of Adult Psychiatry at Stanford University, California, specialising in Sleep Disorders, led to a deep interest in this area. Catherine worked in Paris, in both research and at a clinical level for several years. In 1994, she set up the Mater Private Hospital Sleep Clinic in Dublin, which includes a four bedded Sleep Laboratory and consultation service offering a range of services for the treatment of Sleep Disorders. Sandro Graca
Originally from Portugal and living in Ireland since 2004, Sandro has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Portugal, Ireland, UK and China and holds the following qualifications: Licentiate in TCM, Cert. Prepared Chinese Herbal Medicine, Diploma in Medical Qigong, Cert. Tuina Massage (UK), Cert. Acupuncture (Beijing, China). Sandro is a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland and runs TCM clinics in Dublin and Trim. Having lectured at the Irish College of TCM, Sandro decided to focus on developing awareness to different therapies and co-founded “TCM Ireland” with the aim of explaining the benefits of this system of medicine. Deirdre Mc Swiney
Deirdre McSwiney is the Chief technologist in the Sleep Clinic and helped Dr Catherine Crowe set up the Laboratory in 1994. A Neurophysiology Technician by training, she manages the EEG/EMG clinic and also the Respiratory Laboratory. Diagnosis and treatment of all sleep disorders are dealt with in the Laboratory including overnight sleep studies, treatment with APAP and CPAP devices, Actigraphy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Deirdre was also a founding member of the Irish Sleep Society, has formed a patient support group for patients who suffer with Narcolepsy and supports the Irish Sleep Apnoea Trust, for patients with Sleep Apnoea. Nora Pyne
Nora Pyne’s naturopathic practice is based in Dublin, Ireland. She maintains title as a licensed naturopathic doctor (Ontario, Canada) and a registered naturopathic physician (UK). She is registered with the General Council and Register of Naturopaths (Great Britain) and is member of The British Naturopathic Association. In 2006, she completed the four-year Naturopathic Medicine program at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada.
