One in four people in Ireland suffer with anxiety while at any given time over 300,000 thousand people will experience depression. It’s safe to say that this is fast becoming a hidden epidemic. Whilst there are no easy answers, this programme proves that with the right approach, change is always possible.

For years mum of two Claudine Woods has struggled to deal with her son’s challenging behaviour. Nutritional Therapist Elsa Jones is on hand, and, with the help of a leading child Psychologist and an Irish Supernanny, she offers the family help and healing. We also check out a Pilot project being run in a school in Donabate, which is tackling this issue  at classroom level.

Irene Christie is about to turn 50 and has noticed huge changes in her body and mind over the last couple of years. She is reasonably fit and healthy but now finds it impossible to hold onto her slim figure, keep the hot flashes at bay, and to stop the aches and pains in her bones. Elsa helps Irene through a combination of anti aging nutrition, an innovative exercise regime and several empowerment techniques.
Making Babies (13 July 2011)
Episode 4: Making Babies Thomas and Karen Mc Cluskey have been trying for a baby for over 6 years. Although they have both been medically tested, nothing suggests why they have been unable to conceive. Unexplained Infertility affects huge numbers of couples and as it goes on can be hard to cope with, as is the case with the Mc Cluskeys. Through a mix of nutrition, fertility focused acupuncture and psychotherapy, Elsa along with her team of experts help Thomas and Karen attempt to realise their dream.

Episode 5: Food Intolerances – Fact or Fiction? In this episode Nutritional Therapist Elsa Jones tackles the growing controversy of Food Intolerances. This thorny subject is causing a major divide in opinion because the fact is; a medically accepted diagnosis for food intolerance simply does not exist. In this programme we take two women who suspect they have a food intolerance and offer them two very different approaches to diagnosing and solving the problem.
